Squirrels Gone Wild.
« on: February 09, 2012, 10:09:51 AM »
I can't say for sure that this is Gary, but he had some real swagger.
Marched right in my garage and helped himself to a bag of bird feed. Eating all the sunflower seeds.

I thought this was the best place to try and return the iPad. It was just left sitting on that tree stump.

Thanks.

I witnessed this one first hand while watching a performance of Shakespeare's "The Tempest" in a park.

I find that I cannot observe squirrels in public parks or other areas where they have lots of human contact without thinking of this music:

Saw this in Prospect Park this morning:

Look out Mike!  I think he's in training to bop you on the nose!

I remember watching a whole special on the Discovery Channel about a squirrel who attacked people. They made it look like it was the devil or something. A cop put a bullet in it. The squirrel just stood there. I wish I made this up.

I think I've discovered what Gary does for a living: he creates word verification challenges for Blogger.

Today is a great day in the life of the republic.

Nah, I don't mean Inauguration Day.  And Martin Luther King Day, that's very important, but that's not what I'm referring to either...

It's SQUIRREL APPRECIATION DAY!

Congratulations, Gary! Hope it's the best Squirrel Appreciation Day ever!
