Methods for live-streaming The Best Show

Does anybody have any innovative ways to stream The Best Show on various devices? Streaming through the website on my desktop computer has always been my go-to, but my computer speakers stink and I'm in dire need of new ones.

The android link that gets tweeted out works well enough, but the stream doesn't sound as good on my phone (the audio rarely drops out but there are strange hiccups that are frequent enough to drive me crazy). Might have more to do with my phone than the stream.

I would love to have a way to stream it through my PS3, but I wouldn't even know how to begin. I haven't even tried to pull up the Best Show website on the PS3 web browser because it just seems like a waste of time. I intend to give it a shot when the show starts tonight, but I'm guessing it won't work.

Anybody get the stream working on an odd device?

not sure. i have apple airplay device all around my house and I could stream WFMU thru iTunes live and have the audio all over my house.
Cannot seem to do that from thebestshow.net anywhere so im forced to listen on my laptop speakers, however, I CAN use my airport zones (only one at a time not all simultaneously) if I stream it through my ipod touch which lets me select which zone I want to listen thru. There MUST be a workaround to be able to open the LIVE stream through iTunes.

I was able to obtain a link "http://52.4.252.16:1935/live/BestShow/playlist.m3u8" which I tried to open as a stream through iTunes to no success. HELP.

The problem with the iTunes stream is that it's a different server address every Tuesday. Looking into some workarounds though. Thanks for the feedback!

Any possibility of or progress in getting a fixed streaming address so that I can listen live on my very nice Phillips I'net radio on those full-moon Wednesday mornings when my cat wakes me around 4 or 5 (I'm in Europe)?

nothin...a player pops up but nothing plays. and i can't get on tonight at all from my laptop! thanks for askin', i'll probably figure it out somehow

I wish there was a way to listen through my Roku player like with the early shows.

For iPhone and iPad, I use the free VLC app (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/vlc-for-ios/id650377962?mt=8).

Steps to listen:
1. In Safari, go to http://thebestshow.net
2. Press on the play button until a menu pops up. Choose copy link.
3. Open VLC. From the left menu, you select Open Network Stream.
4. Paste in the link you just copied and press the Open Network Stream button.
5. Listen!

If you close the app or turn off your device, it will probably pause, but you can start it again using control center or the play button on the lock screen.

Get the RCA cable to headphone jack and plug it into your computer.  It should already be set up from your airtunes hook-up.
