Sometimes it seems crazy that Mike would put some of these idiots on the air.  Or maybe he thinks they're so bad, Tom will take them to task in a hilarious way. It would be funny to juxtapoz some of the worst calls with them telling Mike why they wanted to get on the air.

You're over-thinking it, brah. I don't have lengthy conversations with the callers. If they're not speaking in a funny voice and they know what they're going to talk about it (and their topic is not too ridiculous), I generally put them through. For example, with Mattress Manson he said he wanted to talk about his "cute vandalism." Good enough for me. Also, some of the show's best moments are when Tom is dealing with bad callers. As I've always said, if you think there are too many bad callers, it's always within your means to change that by calling in with something interesting. Be proactive, people!

Not to take things in a completely different direction, but I would enjoy hearing Mike work the quasi-word "brah" into the Half Hour of Power, if only to hear Tom's groaning about it for the next 29 minutes.

I have never called the show, but had imagined most call screens to be in the line of "you should see this, he has a show going on out there" and sure, such outtakes would compliment already favorite moments. I remember hoping maybe episodes of "mike show debuts" was Tom sharing air time only as a consolation to Mike, while grievously counseling him for us about the burdens he has endured for his job.

Tom: "Mike you poor wreck, talk to us, things are getting weirder over you every week"

Mike: Really? Alright, can I talk about the group I reviewed??

Tom: "I just appreciate how you help make this show run and

Mike: " If there is something I am doing wrong I ..."

Tom: .. am inviting you to be a formal presence ..

Mike: "Is this about how you think I latched on a flock of callers to what you said when "

Tom: "No, no. Why did I

Mike: "You said now I was only showing up to hide out from them

Tom: No Mike you see we all under appreciate  "

Mike: "Alright then I can talk about my record."

Tom: "I guess
