My cat Crumble just made a winny noise exactly like the sound on the Osmonds' Crazy Horses. I didn't record it so you'll just have to take my word that it was exactly the same.

Stuart has a whiney meow that will get anyone out of bed to feed him.

Blam makes a high pitched baby meow, except for when Stuart is biting his neck. Then he sounds like the hounds of hell.

I watched Thundercats on DVD for the first time since I was really little.

Terrible.

Rankin/Bass stuff is the worst animation ever

My dog, Biscuit latched onto my hand with his front paws and started biting my hand (nicely) while kicking the rest of my arm repeatedly (not so nicely). It was a spot on purrr-formance.

Yeah, revisiting He-Man as a teenager was pretty painful as well.

Wasn't the Hobbit movie Rankin/Bass as well? The Greatest Adventure...

Nope, just checked it. The Hobbit was Rankin/Bass. That other awful Tolkien cartoon movie, The Lord of The Rings, and Ralph Bakshi, who never got to finish the second movie.

There was a SAG strike that demanded all featured players be payed scale, even if they were just going to be rotoscoped.
