Glut of internet greatness
« on: February 08, 2008, 11:02:37 AM »
The award show was the best Best Show ever.  How could it not be?
At the same time, the blogger The Poor Man has published his Keyboard Kommandos book (Keyboard Kommandos = Chickenhawk right wing bloggers), and SadlyNo is reporting at eloquent length under cover and pumped on drugs (ala Hunter Thompson) from CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference).  In short, it's a great time to be alive on the internets! ;D

To all the critics on both sides: I'm very proud of the award I won, and grateful to Tom for giving it to me.  If I sounded flustered on the phone, it's because I didn't have a lot of context when I called -- I wasn't listening live, and a friend text messaged me that I was being asked to call in.  So the award surprised me, but I certainly was no less grateful for it.  Long live the Best Show, and long live Tom Scharpling.

Also, long live Jordan, Jesse GO!, and the great Jordan Morris.

Jesse, since you introduced me to George Saunders, anything is forgiven. I wouldn't wave that "Radio sweetheart" pronouncement around Tom too often, though.
