Tornado Sirens....

Just started going off.  There's supposed to be a tornado about 1 mile from our place headed right for us.  We'll see.

they're basically saying anyone in my neighborhood should take cover.  I'm glad we have a basement, but I'm not ready to get down there yet.

OKC news is the worst.  All 3 channels are full time weather (which is ok), but they are reporting stuff that's not true (full power outages in our immediate area, saying we have tornadoes on the ground and then later saying that they were mistaken, etc...)

we found 4 new leaks in our house.  All through the upstairs windows, all showing themselves through water dripping from our can lights.

wow, hope everything turns out all right for the OKFOTs.  i play the hardy new englander part pretty well when it comes to nor'easters and hurricanes, but whenever i'm in the midwest, the very mention of tornadoes (and earthquakes in california for that matter) scares the S-Hit out of me.

tornadoes scare the s-hit outta me too.  Deadly storms that I can't outrun... that's what my nightmares are made of.  If I had any familiarity with earthquakes, they'd scare the s-hot outta me also.
