 That looked more like a tortoise to me, but I'm more curious about how the ten pound interior door pinned that guy towards the end.

 Also, either animal in that scale would have no problem eating that fragmentation grenade and continuing to attack. Do your homework, Russian horror film makers.

I liked that when it caught just the bottom of the woman's shirt in its beak, she didn't think of simply shrugging the thing off.  Silly woman.  Good thing there was a strong man to help her.
