Just checked out the archive from this week's show, and I gotta say, it's the best show I've heard in a while. Recent shows haven't been in a slump like Tom suggests, but this one had me laughing out loud on several occasions. Which doesn't happen too often.
Here's what gave me a big kick: Tom talking to Philly Boy Roy and Paul F. Thompson about the Newbridge mayubinatorial election like it's a fact, not fiction -- and speculating that PBR has a decent chance of winning it, since the other characters sound like such awful candidates. It's as though this fictional event has become a real phenomenon. That made me laugh more than anything in this week's show.
