PD, you should make that game that Tornado Todd (?) called about.

My oblique post above was just to suggest that it might be simpler to just hack an existing ROM, like Double Dragon, with Best Show tiles.  I'm sure one of the FOTs can do pixel art.  You could then play the game in an emulator or in one of the many web emulation frontends.

I've played Dwarf Wharf a ton, but find those seagulls way too frustrating to continue.

Dwarf Toss is kind of fun, but I agree that the seagulls are way to annoying to want to play the game for some serious points.

i could make an extensive FOT game over time, but it wouldnt be action based, more like walking around, figuring out dumb puzzles, finding items, etc.

or if someone wants to team up, i can design the game and someone can program the fighting. anyone good at that stuff?
