Well, I guess my being disturbed wasn't so much because of the interview as much as just by Kenny himself. There were a few things that he said that I laughed at and winced at at the same time. Also, it would seem that he hates and wants no good for his supposed best friend although I'm sure that it's mostly an act but I've only seen some of the Comedy Central stuff and I think 2 episodes of Testees so I don't get the full scope of how much is an act and how much is him being an awful person but I'll say this to sum up my opinion: The interview was entertaining and funny but if I did have that 'Kenny seems like he'd be cool to hang out with' vibe before I heard it, I didn't afterward.
I think it's probably 75% act. We've had Spenny on, and he is really bilious when discussing Kenny, so I think that there is some really resentment between them coming from the show - Spenny probably takes it more personally than Kenny. But there were early episodes where Kenny pulled back because he felt bad, so maybe they were really partners at one point and the show just created a monster.
We've also had a few dudes from the crew on the show at one point early one, and they really seemed to genuinely like Kenny because he was good to them, and hanging out with him was like hanging out with the that kid your parents wouldn't let you hang out with in grade 6 because he was a bad influence...
RE-RAIL: I think it would be great to hear Tom and Braunger discuss the Doors on The Best Show.
