I've spent (read: wasted) the better part of this weekend doing research on video mixtapes, or "party tapes" as they used to be called back in the day. I'm a big fan of the weird pop-culture/music/comedy/bad daytime TV stuff in the Lost & Found Video Night series, TV Carnage's videos and the Found Footage Festival, but everything else I've tried to find in that vein has been of the "sick/weird porn/horror/splatter/gore set to bad heavy metal" ilk. Does anyone know of any good video-clip comps that would be good for people who like insane Turkish kung-fu films and public cable access absurdity but don't have rotten.com set as their home page?
