Introduction/Invitation:
My husband and I have hardly ever been able to listen to The Best Show in real time. We do marathon road trips (see my website’s “Lonescapes” category) often listening to up 15 hours at a run, so in a way, the six-hour marathon seemed short. I've really enjoyed all of your calls to the show the last few years and it was, as I’ve said, really great to finally call in and be part of the big, crazy-cool family. Thank you all for being so welcoming. You’ve driven my low number up to a less low number. Thank you for following me on twitter and for inviting me to follow you.
I don't know if this will work, but I'd like to shoot a series of FOT portraits for my website and I'm wondering if any of you would like to participate. My husband and I are in New York this week and so I thought I’d ask. You’ll get a copy of the photograph, when I get a chance to print it.
I’ll be at the top of the entrance to the High Line on Saturday, June 20th at noon until 1:30. Come if you can and if you like. Hope to meet some of you. In case of rain, we'll try to reschedule this the next time I'm in town (later this summer).
If this works out, we can do this in other locations as well. Let me know what you think of this idea. Daring experiment or embarrassing faux-pas?
