This is were I bought my first punk singles over 30 years ago. The store is still there and I went in to see if I could pick up some 45's cheap. I did, and the same guys who worked behind the counter back then are still there.
The mega record stores like Tower and Virgin have come and gone but Bleeker Bobs survives.

That's the great wall of 45s. When punk was just starting it was so exciting to go here and have them pull the latest Sex Pistols, Clash, or Damned single out of those slots. They usually came with a picture sleeve. The cost was about $3.
Now I see some of the singles I bought here on the wall for $125.
