I will be there in spirit! I intend to stay up all night and skip work the next day. Both weeks. (Can't do it for all of the marathon though. Would be difficult to explain to my boss.)

Scott will write you to confirm, yes - but he's told me he gets SLAMMED w/requests for the Best Show phoneroom. It probably takes him a while to get back to everyone one way or another.

I would check in and see if you made the cut - I think he usually has to turn a lot of people away. He told me that he had already gotten a ton of people before he'd even sent out the official call. If you're not already on his volunteer email list, have him put you on it!

I will be phone slaving on Saturday, 3/5, and the wife (JustSheaNo) will be preparing din-din at the station for the occasion.

I would love to have chipped in on a Best Show night, but I didn't bother to ask because I know that's a hot ticket, and the station needs folks on non-Best Show times, too. Plus, I was lucky enough to be in studio last year during week two, and see the Patton Oswalt/John Hodgman nerd-off. Perhaps that's enough awesomeness for one lifetime.

Looks like Scott did contact me.  I will be working phones during the second marathon Best Show on 3/8.  I am also going to try and help during a graveyard show. Not sure which yet.
