Circus - PBS Documentary
« on: November 04, 2010, 10:14:00 AM »
For fans of the documentary genre, I highly recommend Circus on PBS -- premiered first 2 hours last night, and I think there is a 6-hour total over the rest of the week.

Anyone else watching?

Don't you think Grandma clown was a little rough on the new clown? Why did that poor sane girl follow her deranged husband when he got kicked out of the crew (so disappointing)? We haven't even gotten to two of the most intriguing-looking characters-the identical twin jugglers who may hate each other-- and I am so into this thing.

I need to hear about this in more detail.

Is that what that was?

Last night both of my headlights went out simultaneously in the middle of nowhere.  I need a phone so I knocked on the door of the nearest house; I had no signal.  They were watching PBS.  Show looked pretty interesting.

I only caught the first hour so far but I'm digging it.  Interested parties might like to know that episodes stream for free at the PBS website.  And their streaming video is high quality and commercial free, better than most of the major network websites' offerings.  I guess those pledge drives are really working out for them.
