I'd seen these before, but tonight I am especially nostalgic for: (1) bands on late-night shows being given their own "look"--not necessarily what they would have chosen exactly, but at least lighting, set design, and camera angles that are designed specifically for their appearance rather than one interchangeable rockin'-with-Paul-Schaeffer mise-en-scene; and (2) Uh, I forgot.  Nostalgic for great Bowie, maybe, I don't think that's what I started out to say though.
