hmmmm

Do you eat seafood? Because that makes a big difference if you're into the Crab Cake thing. (which you should be)

Erika, I have a pathological fear of mayonnaise and can't eat crab cakes for that reason. Do they make crab cakes without mayo? Because they do look yummy, but not if I have to eat mayonnaise.

but id rather have crab soup than crab cakes.  also, we don't mind dives as long as they aren't  to difficult to locate.

thank you.

In the city:

Bo Brooks http://bobrooks.com/menus/lunch.html
Obrycki's http://www.obryckis.com/Menu_W1.cfm?UserID=116942&jsessionid=d0308b12ed16$D2$0D$F

Slightly outside the city:
Mt. Washington Tavern http://www.mtwashingtontavern.com/baltimore_restaurants/lunchMenu.html

A little further outside the city:
Captain Harveys http://www.captainharveys.com/
CJ's Restaurant http://www.cjscrabs.com/cjsmenu.htm

The two that are outside the city are my favorites. I love love love the cream of crab soup and also CJ's has a thing called Imperial Twins. It's crab imperial and hollandaise on english muffin halves. It's amazing.

Crab dip is always good pretty much anywhere you go...

You should be able to mapquest any of these places and get there pretty easily. Are you staying downtown or are you just there for the day?

we ended up going to Obrycki's, and it was awesome.  I had a bowl or crab soup and 6 medium hard shell crabs.  Took me over an hour to get through them all.  I would post a picture of it, but some dummy left the cord to his camera at home, so it will have to wait.

I think we're going to go tool around Baltimore on Monday.  From what I saw, I really like the place.

Thanks Erika.

Oops I missed this! There is about a tablespoon of mayo in a whole batch of crab cakes. So you really don't taste it. Don't worry :)
