Wasn't Tommert banned?

Not sure if he's been officially banned, but his last call (10/3/06 show) was not too hott:

"Tommert calls (starts at 55:46) while in some kind of stupor. Tom wonders if he could dial it down and talk a little quieter. Tommert says OK. Tom tells him to go away."

Prior to that, he called on the mutant-heavy, non-archived 6/27/06 show:

"Tommert calls to apologize for not taking part in the show of late. He's in college and has been meeting a lot of new, interesting people like his English teacher who is really hyped up on Percoset from a car accident. Tommert has some people knocking on the door, so he has to go."

Tommert's a decent guy, he is playing up the druggy thing. I e-mailed with him when he wanted advice on schools in Chicago, he was lucid and nice enough. He comes off as a F W D! on the show.

He was none too impressive on the old board as well.  But I think his worst offenses were in the chat, where he achieved true troll stature.

Yes.  I think that was the final act of the Goshen saga.  They admitted defeat on the 1/2/07 show:

"Tom also got a package from the guys from Goshen who tormented the show this past summer. It contained a t-shirt that says I ♥ Goshen and a note declaring that the war is over. Winner: The Best Show. Tom did not send any I ♥ The Best Show clothing up to Goshen."

Awww, I'm touched you asked.  But the explanation is simple:  I was plumb wore out and didn't feel up to the chat.  Why, then, was I posting after the show was over?  Again, simple:  I'd left the computer on just in case I rallied enough to listen and checked the board before I shut the thing down for the night.

I bet I missed the best show (and chat) ever.
