you seem to be up on this sort of thing (or to ask similar questions on Twitter anyway): it being the holidays and all, and with people asking about gift ideas, can you recommend any charities concerned with animal welfare? I've donate to North Shore Animal League no-kill rescue organization before based on some online reviews, but will welcome input before advising potential gift-givers.
