Hey guys! I'm going to see Iron Chic and Plow United at the First Unitarian Church in Philly this weekend. I am so stoked! I can't remember the last time I went to a show there. It's really one of the best venues in the country. I mean, it's not physically -- it's a church basement. But I remember when the people booking those shows were just starting out and now they essentially control the city's concert bookings, save for whatever crap the Clear Channel venues bring into town. It's really awesome that a bunch of kids who went to high school with friends of mine became what they are.
So, since I'm going to an all-ages punk show in a church basement for the first time in god knows too long, I want to make a fanzine. I made a one-off 'zine when I was in college called The Manitoba Liberation Front. It was one of my favorite formative experiences.
SO -- since this is a retro weekend thing... I want to make a fanzine for Friday's show. I just came up with this idea so I only have a few days 9nights, really) to put this together. So I am looking for help! If you can write something up for me, that would be awesome.
