I loved my Wacky Packages... in 4th grade I accumulated all of the current series and decorated two folders with them... except that darned "Hostage Cupcakes" sticker! Finally I found a buddy with the coveted missing sticker, already used on his Trapper Keeper, and talked him into giving it to me. Carefully removed, I was able to transplant the final prize in my collection to the inside flap in one of my folders with only a couple of pieces of tape to make it right.
I was really amused to hear one of JW's pals talk about winning a lifetime supply of Wacky Packages on a recent show. I was also in sympathy with his nightmares... including the haunting prospect of being rubbed down with Baby Runt bars.
Baby Runt of all things! Possibly the weakest card ever? There were more than a few stinkers in the line-up, but I can't think of anything more worthy of the big "L" on the forehead than Baby Runt.
