Or I guess you could be a treasure of musical talent and play to one girl and a few hand-clappers. you hear about these shows the Ramones played their first few shows with the bartender and a dog watching...but there are LEGENDS still enduring that same fate 30 years later.

So glad you posted this. I love Bill too and I don't think he is playing to anything unexpected. I'm sure he'd play to quieter audiences if he played bookstores or coffee shops like Michael Hurly but I assume he feels more at home in bars. Do you know if/when Transit Byzantium will be reissued on vinyl?
