Philip Seymour Hoffman, R.I.P.

Died from a drug overdose, apparently. I'm bummed out.

Ever do nothing and gain nothing from it?
Ever feel stupid and then know that you really are?
Ever think you're smart and then find out you aren't?
Ever play the fool and then find out that you're worse?

Philip Seymour Hoffman was probably the single best actor of his generation. A brilliant talent gone far, far too soon.

This sucks.

I"m lucky I got to see him in True West as the uptight brother.  I wish he did more comedy roles, he was a very good comic actor. "Hahahaha...wonderful woman. We're all very fond of Mrs Lebowski, free spirit."

I frickin hate this.
I'm very sad he passed.
He was one of the really great ones who made it work in the Hollywood system.
