Hey chumps! Reaching out to see if there are any FOTs worth knowing about in the region. Boy, do I wish S&W would do a show here. BUTT I completely understand why it's not a golden booking opportunity.

I'm in Lawrence. Glad to see new people on the board. I don't post much, but I've been here for 7 years and I got my box set in the mail about a week ago.

There aren't too many Friends of Tom around here. We'll turn it into a gathering the next time Wurster tours through town.

Do you know Ed from Lawrence? I had the pleasure of meeting him this past weekend at the Riptide Fest. Did you make it out to any of the shows? They were dynamite.

There should be an FOT hang sometime in Lawrence. I can't imagine it wouldn't be the best time.

I live a few short hours away in Lincoln, NE.

If there's a sweet show or something, I'm not opposed to driving down there.

I suggest putting up fliers at the Replay and Love Garden to find more FOTs like you.

Hey dudes, I didn't get tickets to Maron at the Lawrence Arts Center before he sold out (rats but good for him/Lawrence comedy fans), but I'll be at Tig Notaro June 22 @ LAC. Anybody else hitting it up?

This Ed guy sounds super cool.

Went to see Maron last year and it was pretty good. Marc was great but all the good seats went to "VIPs" which meant people who bought tickets to every show at the Arts Center and that was not people who were way into Marc. Totally going to Tig.
