For some reason I woke up this morning thinking of George Burns as God in those horrible movies and thought he should make the list

Are they horrible? I've been meaning to make my kids watch them cuz I was a fan as a boy but I have no idea how they'll hold up.  I figured since they are already big John Denver fans it'll be a HOME RUN but who knows.

I'm probably not alone in the Best Show Middle Age Dad Who For Some Reason Loved Late-Late Period George Burns Movies As a Boy group.

I liked them as a kid even though I wasn't a church-goer type, but they're pretty painful to watch as an adult. That one other movie with George Burns and Brooke Shields was especially bad too.
Speaking of which, I started rewatching the Blue Lagoon a couple years ago...talk about uncomfortable adult viewing..eesh

William Defoe's character "Raven" in Streets Of Fire wearing his leather overalls or in sledgehammer fight.

You may be right, he was probably the best thing in that movie.

Now that I know about this, I would have put this kid forward. It possibly would only make one of Mike's lists, though:

On rare... somewhat rare occasions I acquire and intense and lasting hatred for a movie based solely on the poster.

The Pest is the archetypal film of this kind for me.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!
