Going Deep with David Rees
« on: December 19, 2015, 09:31:25 PM »
I know David has been on the show with his artisinal pencil sharpening, but did you know he has a whole show based on how do do really simple things really well?  Well he does. It's the second season, and the topics are:

How to:
Pet a Dog (Amy Sedaris)
Eavesdrop
Get Punched (Aimee Mann, Bernard Hopkins)
Bounce a Ball
Sign Your Name (Button Gwinnett, Paul F. Tompkins)
Take a Nap (John Hodgeman)

It's pretty good and has some good info considering how simple the subjects are.

I was going to post here about how much I loved the first season and wished there was a second season. Total LB!

This show was astounding from the first episode onwards. All the new ones I've seen are excellent as well. Wish there was a DVD with all of the outtakes and extended clips Rees has talked about. "This neuroscientist was cool -- we also talked about Metallica for twenty minutes between a take."

How To Sharpen Pencils had one of the best payoffs I've ever read, so great. This show is FANTASTIC, can't wait to watch season 2 :)
