In fairness, I really want to buy the
Estuche piece by
Los Carpinteros. It's called a jewelry box, but it's actually person size, so you better own a shitload of jewelry if you want the thing to live up to its name. I didn't ask the dealer the price, because I knew I couldn't afford it. Also, I had already spent too much at the Bridge Art Fair and blown some cash on a really cool Shintaro Miyake beaver print, which has sense doubled in price. So yay me.
Also at Art Basel last year, by Los Carpinteros: a pool table. Yep, it was a billiards table made of tile and filled with water.
