Are you sure?  I thought that was Squidge from Couch Tomato.  Their super-fast ska version of "Jessie's Girl" rocked the house when my band played with them at Café Coffee in Livonia, Mi.  Last July!

In all seriousness, though, I, too, am a fan of the Defever projects.  I love that era when he was getting more into R&B and dubby stuff!

Well, I got the album name wrong, but the band was real.  Looking back at this website, I get the feeling they just took some jpeg from google, slapped their album title on it in photoshop, and pretended it was an album with an actual cover.

I think that might be a piece she's wearing for her new video. They're filming somewhere in California. I HOPE it's a piece, because that hair looks like it might be housing small woodland creatures. I mean, I know she walks around with her crazy beehive hairdo. We saw her clean up a Jamba Juice she spilled in a Duane Reade, and she was sporting a significantly smaller bump of hair on her head as well as a purple toothbrush sticking out of her pocket for some reason.
