I love how everything boils down to black vs white, rich vs poor for people. It must make life so easy to think that way.
yeah, you're right..... but it IS also about race and class too
It's almost impossible for things in America to not be about skin colour and money.
They're lampooning rap video cliches in a funny way (the humping, tractor hydraulics) but that in itself reduces it some kind of minstrelsy. But then again as a rap fan that is what the overwhelming amount of rap vids are. I really can't blame people who only understand the culture from the outside or periphery.
It's hard to think of how they could have done it and not touched on those issues. It could have been way worse Jamie Kennedy levels of putrid. But still I got a kick out of it.
But let's not turn our brains off here.
