Awwww. Get better, Sprinkles!

Question: Does your calico also have a "princess" personality? I have a calico, and she's a little snotty princess. She's sweet and cuddles and sits on my lap, but she'll meow at me to do her bidding. No, seriously. She meows, she starts to walk away, she turns around if she senses that I'm not following her and meows again. She will either lead to me to her favorite interactive toy for playtime, to her food bowl for a little top-off, to the sink for a little water-fountain action even though we bought her very own pet fountain goddamnit, or to the kitchen or bathroom door to be let out onto the porch for some fresh air.

I'm told that a "princess" personality is rather typical in calicos.

Coloration is no excuse. You've got to stop spoiling those cats. Cat-haters already think the entire species is soft-serve.

Not my buddy Owen...

He's a New Orleans rescue cat. On his first night in Chicago, our makeshift cat bed was occupied, so Owen curled up and fell asleep in the litterbox.

I adopted him the same day he got fixed. For a few months, he would hump something for about five seconds, realize the thrill was gone, and go sulk. But he adjusted.

I had a cat but he's gone now.

Gonna get to see my dog in Texas on Saturday, though. EXCELLENT.
Who ever heard of a dinosaur with a head full of grease and an out of tune guitar?

As Bubbles would say, "I love kitties."

I have one like that too, Emerson.  Here's a picture of me making Sparkles and Sprinkles kiss.

Awwww. Check out my two kitties at Kitten War. Sidney's holding down Zowie, about to give her a "kiss." As you can see, Zowie is not very fond of the situation at hand. Or paw, as the case may be. She's gotten better at accepting his grooming, and I've even seen her lick his paw, but she'll still smack him when she's had enough.

Sidney, right now, is sleeping on a pile of comics underneath my printer stand thingy. Awwww. Yay kitties!
