Randy Quaid's Antics Lead to Banishment from Union

http://gothamist.com/2008/02/07/randy_quaids_an.php

I especially like this bit, which is positively Wursteresque (Wursterian?):

Quote
one actor reports trying to end an angry telephone harangue from Evi [Quaid] by saying, “I'd like to terminate this call.” Evi allegedly responded, “I'd like to terminate your existence on this planet.”

I can't remember where I read he warned someone in this or another production that he would "yodel in [their] wife's pussy."

It would be better if she said "I'd like to terminate your pregnancy!"

Just sayin'.

"You So Quaisy" 2008

This photo makes me wish I could still see that play.
Now that he's out of AEA*, I guess I'll have to wait until he reprises the role at my local dinner theater.

Getting kicked out of that union = you are truly a special brand of insane.

I know, I would love to have seen that.  It would have given me hope for theater.  But now that he's non-equity, maybe he'll appear in a Richard Foreman play.  Which would be a special brand of awesome.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.
