Actually it wasn't until this thread until I realized that Ted Leo and Teddy Rockstar were one in the same. I went and it was one of the best concerts I've ever attended - I'm a relative oldster these days so I mostly hung back - I didn't even know that girl, until the next day when I was looking for photos on Flickr. I actually got into Teddy and TBSOWFMU at about the same time, which is to say the past six months or so. Both of them made an enjoyable stay in Austin, TX, even more enjoyable.
Anyway, I spotted Sr. Corazon, but not the Gorch fellow. Thought about saying hi, but lost my nerve.
And Dan B, I teach at Rutgers. If you ever wind up in my class (which is a tiny bit likely, as I teach Expos 2, which everyone has to take), you should identify yourself as a FOT. Or you can just take my screenwriting class, which is easier and more fun anyway, and we can openly discuss our adoration of all things Tom. Hopefully it won't be a wistful remembrance.
