Captain Jack. Especially after the rant on the last show—as if Tom never would have made it without him. Ridiculous! All he is is fodder for mockery like every other caller to the show. The only difference is that he has to make an extra effort to be of interest.

I hope he gets a zit.

Captain Jack is annoying for sure, but at least he isn't really boring.
I would take Captain Jack over Boring Owen or Spike any day.

I have come to appreciate both Captain Jack and Spike (though it seems I must now listen to the full Captain Jack bit from last week - I often skip over his parts).

Captain Jack in the studio was wacky, and Captain Jack being talked over (and talked to by fake-voice Tom) were good things.

Steinberg, on the other hand - that's the worst fake voice ever.  I wanted to smash my computer on the ground just to never heat that voice again.

I don't consider MC Steinberg a troll, even though he used to be.  The fact that buffcoat likes Captain Jack but usually skips through his calls says it all right there.  That's about the only way to continue liking Capt. Jack.  I liked Capt. Jack circa 2003, but it's all over now
