Anyone else doing the Chase Community Giving on Facebook?  I have 19 votes left to donate to causes if you will donate to my cause. All it takes is two clicks and a Facebook account.

Chase Bank is giving away 5 million dollars to charities and organizations. It's the last week of voting and we're trying to win some of the money. Voting ends tomorrow and we want to be in the top 100. Just post a reply if you want to trade votes for each other's charities/organizations.

If you're already voted for my organization, I really appreciate it. If not, you have a Facebook account, and would be so kind as to help us out, we could really use the votes. Each person gets 20 votes so you can trade with each other and vote for more than 1 organization.  There is only one more day left but it's really easy:

1) Just sign into Facebook.
2) Click on this link to take you to the Chase Community Giving Application for my charity: http://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunitygiving/charities/662899
3) If it asks you to "Vote for this charity," please press "Yes" or "Vote." Then, you'll have 19 more votes to use for your favorite charity.

This would be greatly appreciated!

I still have 19 votes left. Are there any charities/organizations you would like to see my vote go to? It is literally two clicks (after you sign into Facebook).

Film Forum in NY is participating in the Chase Facebook thing.  I voted for them, for what it is worth.

Well, I would gladly trade a vote for them, if you would vote for Lexington Children's Theatre. Just let me know. They've extended the voting one more day so, we're trying to get as many votes as possible in the home stretch.

We were in the top 100!!! Our Development Director worked her high heels off to get us in that top 100. Now, we have a chance to win 1 million dollars. We have to present a proposal for what we would do with the money and then there will be a popular vote. I would ask you all to please vote for us in this second round. It would be such an incredible act of generosity. I'll provide more info as the time draws near but the voting is from January 8th to January 11th only, so please keep us in the back of your heads when this time comes around!

Much thanks to SenorCorazon for hooking up the Tim Burton Moma Exhibit. Not sure what I can offer to any FOTs visiting Richmond, but get in touch if you do.

No problem! Offer extended to any and all. Though yesterday and today there were so many people that ticketing systems were breaking down.

I am not a good guerilla marketer.  This stuff sneaks up on you, and I was away most of last week, too busy to virally market.

But this week my work is holding an event, World's Fair Use Day. www.wfud.info There will be a variety of interesting speakers.  If you're in the DC area this Tuesday, come by.

I involved myself to the extent necessary to convince the planners to commission a poster from Neil Numberman, a preview of which can be seen here: http://twitpic.com/xf2zt

Shoot, can't make it to DC tomorrow, but I can tweet about it for my friends up there.

Might as well throw my things out there:

I'm hosting a screening of the Documentary "Trust Us, This Is All Made Up" this Thursday, January 14th at 7pm at Gallery 5 in Richmond, VA. All the info is here (facebook) http://www.facebook.com/#/event.php?eid=195741245811&index=1, or the flyer here: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2666/4207913460_c2b6726cf2_b.jpg.  The film is a documentary about TJ and Dave, two well known long-form improvisers to come out of the Chicago improv scene. A local improv group, the Richmond Comedy Coalition, will also be performing. It's $3.

Also, I'm having a duckpin bowling/dance party on Jan 30th to coincide with my birthday. Any FOTs would be more than welcome. Heres the info on that: http://www.facebook.com/#/event.php?eid=213876037869&index=1, January 30th, 10pm, plaza bowl - Richmond, VA.
