I want to buy that BBS boxset, but only to get Head, Five Easy Pieces, and King of Marvin Gardens. The rest of the films I don't really I have an interest in. If only there were a way to buy the films individually.

And I'll echo what others have said about Easy Rider. I've watched it on several occasions and it's never done anything for me.

Last Picture Show is in there isn't it?  That one is pretty great.

Despite disliking Easy Rider and being completely unfamiliar with one or two of the titles, I'll probably still buy this box.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

50% off sale is back at Barnes & Noble.  Picked up the HOUSE blu-ray at lunch.

Is it worth a blind buy? Everything I read about it sounds fantastic.

Yes.  It's a blast.

It definitely exceeded my expectations. Such weird fun.

Feb. releases:

Blu
Amarcord
Double Life of Veronique
Fish Tank
Still Walking
Sweet Smell of Success
Senso

Couldn't be more excited for Still Walking and Sweet Smell and it'll be nice to have Double Life on blu.

Yeah, Still Walking is a really fine film.  Curious to see Senso.  Also, I've still never seen Amarcord.

Not many March titles but I'm looking forward to Yi Yi on blu, along with The Times of Harvey Milk and Topsy-Turvy.

Will check out the Silent Naruse box.  Cinephiles lose their shit over that guy.

Also, Criterion posted this pic to their Facebook page today:

Dare I hope that this is a FIRE WALK WITH ME clue?  They wouldn't toy with me so cruelly, would they?

They wouldn't release that without the TV series, would they?

I don't see why not.  I'm sure they would release most of Lynch's films if the opportunity arose, and FWWM stands as more than just an addendum to the series by this point.

Lynch supposedly filmed enough footage for FWWM to make a movie twice as long as the one that was released, and fans have long been clamoring for a full-scale DVD release featuring the outtakes.  If this is it, woo-hoo!  I'd buy it. That photo seems more related to the TV series than to the released movie, though.  Were there cut scenes set in the Twin Peaks police station? I dunno.
