Another entry in the "Worst Song Evah" contest...
« on: November 14, 2007, 01:51:27 AM »
I knew modern country was worthless, but I had no idea it was this bad. Feast your eyes on niche songwriting taken to its logical extreme - songs about people who drive international harvesters! Let Craig Morgan tell you all about it:

Bad, but not even close to Cowboy Star's level of bad.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

So, he's the son of a farmer... and he's been married ten years to the farmer's daughter.

I hate to read between the lines here, but...

It would be difficult to come up with a more perfect example of what's wrong with country music today.  If nothing else, look at the whiteness of that crowd at the end.  Truly remarkable.

To paraphrase Christopher Walken:  "Car fires all around."
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

my friend saw that Garth Brooks show in Central Park, cause his girlfriend dragged him to it. according to him, he ended the show with a cover of "American Pie" that was felt like it was 9 hours long... during it, the two of them went to get some food from a stand near the exit.... so then Garth finishes playing and goes "okay, goodnight!" and a million white honky motherfuckers turn around and start rushing towards my friend and his girlfriend. he said that if you don't know what it's like to have a million white honky motherfuckers turn around and walk towards you, you don't want to find out.

Did Andy Breckman come out and do a duet with Garth Brooks?

Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

That was hilarious.  It would be even more satisfying if the Rob Lowe segments were filmed for the video itself (instead of scenes from what looks to be a painful television movie) and if Bob Odenkirk were sitting with those terrifyingly somber band members.
