Hi Tom,

How about the awesome new Les Savy Fav album Let's Stay Friends? Or Kenny Vs. Spenny? Or tonight's Daily Show interview with Chris Matthews where I recognized for the first time ever that, in spite of the fact that I tend to like what he does, Jon Stewart is sort of a dick?

Keep that finger away from the trigger; we need you.

Tom,

I would like to hear your opinions on two "classic" albums that i personally don't understand why people think are so great.

Who's Next and London Calling

I think both are piles of crap speckled with a few good songs. Who's Next in particular.

I'd like to know if you agree or disagree. if you disagree I'm very interested in finding out from you why they are so great. so far no one can give me a better answer than "dude they're fucking classic man!"
I was the first guy in hardcore to whip people with his belt.

Hi Tom,

I would love to hear your take on the latest Harry Shearer CD, "Songs Pointed and Pointless". I believe it has potential to be one of the hysterical high points in the history of the show, as I believe it would push your buttons like no CD since Dylan's Modern Times.

Thanks!

dave

I would like you to explain why you feel CASINO ROYALE was aimed at you. Was it the scene where he was ball-tortured? I just saw that movie last night and I was like "WHAT!?!?!" Anyway. More discussion of James Blond, please. D. Craig is a man my mother described to me, with not a little of squirming on my part, as "rough trade."

He's into hardcore gay S&M? Or did she mean that he looks like the sort who would go gay for pay?

Also, Chris Matthews is the dick.  That guy is such a kiss-ass to power - he's in my hate pit.

I'd like to vote for a review of the new Mike Birbiglia record. In a year that saw a ton of awesome comedy releases, it seems like like it got lost in the shuffle.

I have to think that you meant "L. Craig" here.  That man is definitely rough trade, but not in a good way. (?!)

Tom - I would like you to review "Kitchen Nightmares," because that is some funny shit.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

Oh, oh, buffcoat, did you see the one with Sebastian?  Normally I hate reality shows, but I stumbled on this episode and couldn't stop watching, so dumb, dishonest, and delusional was this guy.  I may need to adopt this show.

I go through periods, usually centered around TBS marathons, where I watch several Bond movies in a short burst.  I'm partial to the Man with the Golden Gun  (Hall of Mirrors! Ricardo Montalban!) and Live and Let Die (Alligators!  Voodoo!)   I definitely think Tom should include the original, though non-canonical, Casino Royale in his Bond project.

Sarah - yes, that was the magical one.  How much do you want to bet that his "unique menu of 20 different flavors" made an immediate comeback as soon as Chef Ramsey walked out the door?

"I have never, ever, ever, ever, EVER had less faith in someone than I have in you."  Zing!

He may be an artist in cooking, but his skill in the kitchen cannot match his own mastery of profanity.

I love Woody Allen movies (just watched the contemporary "What's Up, Tiger Lily?" and liked it), but the original Casino Royale may be the least entertaining movie ever made.
