Ah, I misunderstood bmw's earlier post to mean asskite was lacking a present as well.

Curious that on December 21 JF posted, "And to the person who I am Secret Santana to...  although my gift is in no way Best Show related, I think it has the potential for hours and hours of devious fun. Hope you like it.  This certainly suggests that intentions were good.  Perhaps the USPS is at fault after all.

I've had trouble with hoodlums stealing packages from my front door. My UPS guy comes by my neighborhood at around 6 or 7, when I'm home. He'll dump the package without bothering to ring the goddamn doorbell. Fortunately, I've wised up to his ways and have taken to checking periodically if I'm expecting a delivery. I should complain. I get it, you have lots of shit to deliver. Still, would it be so hard to ring the stupid doorbell? You don't have to wait 30 seconds for me to answer it, asshole. Just ring it, drop it, and zoom off in your ugly brown van. Is that so fucking hard?

I think his post in December and indeed his posts in general speak in his favor.  My guess is either the post office or life's messiness is at fault.  But maybe I just don't want to believe that one FOT would do another wrong.
