I feel like children's entertainment has gone so downhill since I was a kid. I miss the days of Free To Be, You and Me.

The marketability of children's entertainment has created a giant, ugly corporate monster of empty thoughtless crap. I'm doing a study right now on current children's television programming, and the lack of imagination and intelligence is appalling, even the so called "educational" tv. And these rabid parents who spoil their kids rotten with this stuff make me ill. I feel like it's just getting worse and worse.
