I prefer the term Greezy Culture Merchant.

I was talking about these guys, who carry stuff for the gallerists/dealers/merchants: http://www.nytimes.com/slideshow/2008/03/23/magazine/0323-MOVERS_index.

Oh, and the Times bemoaning the hopeful end of the Atlantic Yards project? COME ON! That was some of the worst crap; I'm so glad that's probably not getting built. You're still on my list of 5 people I don't want to have dinner with, Gehry! (June 19, 2007)

YUCK!

Have you seen Gehry's jewelry collection for Tiffany? It's uglier than his architecture.

The orchid vase looks like a dildo. Seriously.

Sounds like someone was working as a conduit for nature's natural vengeance.  Just like Jesus.  And some of the others.

I love the Bilbao art museum, but man - I have not been much of a fan of too much else he's done recently.

The EMP in Seattle?

The dorms at MIT?

Gross.
Now write me a receipt so I can tip on outta here...

Thanks, Josh, I'm psyched about this (assuming I don't move to Jersey).  You can literally see my house in that photo - I'm right behind that football field in the lower right corner.

And Gehry, ugh.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

Well at least this country values educating as many people as possible. Especially those who can't afford tuition or room and board. They'd never dream of spending frivilous money on things like artsy dorm designs...

Oh wait. What?

The Atlantic Yards will never be renovated if the recession is as bad as they predict. You know what that means...

I had to break this down... For the cost of that MIT building, if I'm doing my math correctly, approximately 2,500 kids could be given a four-year college education. (state school)
