I've lived in Brooklyn for a decade (Williamsburg for half of that), have seen and enjoyed not only the Grateful Dead and Phish (the former like 20 times), but The Allman Brothers, Blues Traveler, Santana, The Black Crowes, Edie Brickell, From Good Homes, David Crosby, Sarah McLachlan, Meat Loaf, Hall & Oates, U2, and Paul Simon.  I once wrote a somewhat positive review of a Jimmy Buffett album for vh1.com.  I'm listening to Simone Dinnerstein's version of Bach's Goldberg Variations this very second.  I love comic books, the superhero kind as well as the Fantagraphics kind.  I not only love those Bravo reality shows, but I started watching regular ones too, on DVD, ostensibly for "research," and even though it makes me a little sick I get really into Survivor.  I've been to operas at the Met more than once, and also saw the London philharmonic there.  I loved Les Miz.  I started watching Monk entirely because of Andy and Tom and I really like it.

Oh, and I had sex with a cabbage once.  JUST KIDDING!
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

So that's why the French use the term "mon petit chou" as a term of endearment...

That's not very embarrassing.  That's regular-style!

In 8th grade, I popped a balloon and sorta caused a pyramid of cheerleaders to topple over.

This should go in a "proud moments" thread.

Was it one of these balloons?

I have seen the Grateful Dead in concert and enjoyed myself.
Actually have seen them multiple times and always had a blast

Phish back then were just a band that played in bars and clubs.

I wholeheartedly agree.

In other news, I'm embarrassed to say that I actually enjoy watching America's Next Top Model.  I think it would be great if someone make a spoof show titled "America's Next Top Model Train Set".

Yeah, but if you're sittin' around listening to this you have something to be a little ashamed of:

Space Moose destroyed my soul a long time ago.  And my conscience, and my sense of shame.

It has made me a much better businessman.  Thanks, Adam Thrasher, wherever you are!
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!
