Dear Tom,

Should I see Cloverfield?

Obviously I am not Tom. I will tell you that every single person I know who has seen the movie told me to sit in the back of the movie theater. Apparently the handheld camera gets to be a bit much.

I remember getting tricked into seeing the Blair Witch Project and spending most the movie with my head between my legs trying not to vommit.

Eh, I got used to the shaky cam pretty quickly. It was fun and short. I enjoyed it. I look forward to the DVD extras.

Yeah I hated the main characters and the underlying plot but loved the destruction.

It was a decent monster movie and I'd say it's probably more enjoyable on the big screen with theater-quality sound than sitting at home.

I watched the ending on the you-tube.  I'm confident that's like experiencing the whole thing.

All the monster movie I need is "Godzilla vs Mothra". Now there was a monster movie! One for the ages!

It's a very fun monster movie.  Nothing more, nothing less.  The characters are annoying but you're there for the monster and it doesn't disappoint.
