and hating on NYers in general (for thinking they're better than NJ, for their lowly city grocery stores, for their kickball, etc.)
I'm on Tom's side here, even though I haven't lived in Jersey in 10 years.
One thing that gets me about so many "New Yorkers" is that they're really from places like Harrisburg, PA, Connecticut, or Wisconsin, and yet they move to Brooklyn and are all of a sudden superior to Jersey. If you're going to be a Jersey hater, you had better be a native New Yorker. You're still wrong, but at least you're entitled to an opinion. These transplants shouldn't even allowed to entertain thoughts about Jersey.
