I enlisted the help of ebay in order to make my pledge. Between a plumbing catastrophe and a couple of huge, unexpected car repair bills in the last couple of months, it became very clear I wasn't going to be able to pledge. I wanted to show my support (and also to get that sweet premium Tom is offering up), so I dug into my 7" collection and grabbed 4 or 5 big-ticket items that I knew I wouldn't miss, threw 'em up on ebay, and 7 days later I had a mouse pledge.
I'm not saying everyone needs to sell their possessions to pledge. But almost everyone can get something, even a little bit, together to pledge. What one man can do, another can do!
