Tagalongs are very popular, though I would say Tagalongs and Caramel Delights/Samoas are technically round canybars.

They're both pretty good, but Dosidos are like Nutter Butters.  The Tagalongs are like peanut butter Twix but way better.
Oh, good heavens. I didn’t realize. I send my condolences out to the rest of the O’Connor family.

If we heard mortar shells, we'd curse more in our songs and cut down on our guitar solos. (minutemen)

There is a Target within walking distance from me, but I avoid it if I can.  Once or twice a year there will be something like vacuum cleaner bags that I don't know where to find, so I'll just go there, and usually leave with a case of cat food.  Oh, and I've had so many DVD players break that I usually just go there and get the cheapest-ass replacement that I can.

Target is my guilty pleasure! I am in Florida right now and it is one of the American things that I love, but in a way I don't fully understand or necessarily like (cf. beer sold in gas stations, telemundo!, etc.). I don't think I have been in a Canadian Zellers or Wal-Mart for at least ten years, but I will wander around in the Target for over an hour, just kind of staring at everything.

This post kind of feels like it belongs in the Lighthouse Confessions thread instead of this one.

Florida, eh? Hey, I live there!

Also, for the topic: the films of Lars von Trier and David Mackenzie.

I guess I'm easily bored. When his songs go on so, so, so, so long I start to get sleepy.

I have the deepest respect for whoever it is that has to play the shaker for Fela Kuti, or for any afrobeat band. They never seem to lose it.

I love the long afrobeat stuff though. I'm a giant hippie.

I like imagining Beth as a nine-foot tall hippie.
