Tom (and others) discuss the tv show

I've not paid much attention to the board recently -- perhaps everyone already knows:

The relevant actors, Tom and other writers discuss Monk here:

...or as I refer to it, 'The Thing That I Really Really Really Didnt Want To Do But Was Strong Armed Into Doing By My Superiors'.

Tom.

Come on, Tom, you might have overseers, but you certainly don't have superiors.

The thing that strikes me is how you seemed to go out of your way not to actually say "WFMU", and you got closer and closer to it (this station that me and Andy are associated with it, it's a listener-run station), and finally, at the last possible moment, you managed to veer away from it without having the call letters actually pass through your lips.

Next year, if WFMU doubles your salary, will you say it?

Well, Tom, they could make you do it, but they couldn't make you look like you were enjoying it.

Score one for "I'll do it, but I won't LIKE it."
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

1. I love that there's an advertisement before the advertisement

2. The box factory is even more horrible than I can imagine, especially since it was the same shade of wood panelling as my living room.

3. Everyone looks so happy to be there, the way they are leaning back so far in their chairs, as if the camerman is wearing a hat made of ecoli infected excrement

4. speaking of the camerman, does this not remind everyone of a Twin Peaks episode? what with the inapprorpiate use of the wide shot? TV is a CLOSE UP medium, people, didn't they teach you anything at USC?

5. Andy is much huger than I thought, and much more Rob Reiner-y.

6. Tom is obviously the bad kid.

7. That's a tiny, fifth-of-southern comfort-like bottle that Tom drinks out of.

Too many stops and starts.

Boooo, USA. You need to get some streamin' learnin'.

David Breckman is kind of not bad looking. Was he adopted?

Adopted, but raised vaginally.

I'm sure he was employed on his merits and not his looks.
