Try the Goner site, Forrest. A buddy of mine has gotten his copies of the first 2 from them, so I know they stock them.

I heard this one sold out on Matador's site in 2 hours. And these are supposed to be getting more and more limited with each single. I guess they're going to press 11 of the last one.

It figures- the one day I don't go on the internet at all because I'm away visiting my injured grandmother, of all things, the preorder goes up. Though it sounds like I wouldn't have been able to get one anyway- not only did it sell out nearly immediately, they actually had to email a number of people who had been able to order one and tell them they didn't actually get one.

This one looked particularly cool, too- oh well. It's just odd because the first two were so easy to find everywhere.

Apparently the last couple of 7"s will not even be available for mailorder (i.e. they will be offered by e-mail to those that purchased the earlier 7"s or they will only be in record stores).

Hmmm...I hope this means I'll be able to get one since I've bought the others. Ugh...part of me is annoyed by this sort of behavior (intentionally pressing a far smaller quantity than you know you can sell - I'm looking at you, Boris!), which encourages collector fetishism...and another part of me is in the thrall of that same fetishism. I need them all! Yeah, I know I can get all the songs on the compilation that Matador will sell when this craziness is over, but I still need them all.

i havent even tried to buy any of these releases- i knew then and i know now that i  wouldnt grab one in time.  i decided a long time ago to cut my losses when i could.   it would only bring major disappointment.

despite that, i want all of these very badly.

Are you talking about a cut-out notch or an actual bullet hole in the CD? It's probably pretty tough to find either way.
