Wow. This is real. Check out the cover.

"Foreword by Sister of Beatle George Harrison, Louise Harrison"

I guess he was promoting his book at Beatlefest.

Off topic but,

Louise is a friend of my family. She stays over at my parent's house sometimes. It's pretty weird.

I'm not bragging....

The RZA wrote a book called THE WU-TANG MANUAL. If you aren't a Wu-Tang fan, I could see it being called a terrible book...but you know what? I am a fan, and I loved it.

I thought the Wu-Tang Manual was a really cool format for a band book. A mixture of history, their personal beliefs, and annotated lyrics. A fun read.

I love the fact that the Butch Patrick memoir is about the first 25 years of his entertainment career. It suggests that there could be a sequel, and also I think I'd much rather read about his life during the past 25 years where he is a washed up child actor.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/celebritynews/3107140/David-Beckham-to-launch-childrens-books.html

Quote
David Beckham is to launch a series of children's books with plots set in his football academies.

The stories, aimed at seven year olds, will be about what a group of young footballers get up to on the pitch and after training.

The books will also have tips, a pull-out tactics board and statistics on the game.

The first book in the series, which has not yet been given a title, is due to be released in June 2009 but publishers say the books will not be written by Beckham.

That is a very optimistic way of looking at the "book problem."
