Sweet Tooth v. Salt Tooth (bored at work)

My workplace decked out two conference tables with snacks and I was happy to be the only one who loves black licorice.  Mmmm Black Vines.

Have you tried black licorice Altoids? They're like the hard version of Blackjack gum.

I'm not into sweets at all. They don't make sense to me. Fruit tastes just as good as any candy so why not just eat that? Salty snacks on the other hand are very good and there's nothing that compares to peanuts and popcorn.

My favorite snack is chips and salsa.

In Scandinavia they have this candy called Turkish Peber that is black licorice hard candy filled with salt in the middle.  It's amazing.  I've never had the altoids.

liking black licorice must be like liking menthol cigarettes. no one will ever bug you for a taste of your snack!

i hate black licorice but i really love fennel root and star anise. makes no sense.

anyway. salty over sweet for me. i'd inhale a bag of tortilla chips before i'd look twice at a cake.

Sweet. Strawberry rhubarb pie beats any salty snack for me.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

Salty!

If I could subsist entirely on kettle chips I would at least consider it. For a long, long time.

This baffles me.

My wife puts pretzels in her ice cream.
