Zachary Brimstead, Esq. gives Tom a run for his money when he announces "HOLD!"

Haven't heard all the episodes, but I think it's the most overt laughter I've heard from The Kid.

Edit: Just heard Petey 4.0, I think we might have a winner.

I just remembered this in my music class (10 people) and laughed pretty much non-stop for 15 minutes.

Petey 4.0 and Zachary B are easy to find here:

http://www.wfmu.org/playlists/BS

Nov. 1/05 for Petey 4.0
Nov. 28/00, Apr.3/01 + June 20/06 for Zachary.

I would be surprised if Jon had anything to do with Petey 4.0 -- to me, that sounded like a completely unplanned surprise for Tom -- and it was hilarious which explains why he is laughing so much!  And that guy (and his faffer) should phone back, at the very least to annoy Petey.

Jon was Petey from the future from another episode, though.

Tom cracked himself up pretty good on last night's show. Check it out. It's at the 44:12 mark. You have to listen past Michael K. from the Cynics, but you can hear him losing it in the background after he mentions the Super Dave Osborne wig exhibit coming to the Warhol museum.

Oh man, Petey 4.0 was funny.  Alas, Tom pledged to barr him forever if Petey gave the word, and unfortunately Petey did.  But I can understand that.

I don't know ANY thing about the music people that come through on the show
But it was freaky how much like Philly Boy Roy he sounded.

That characterization isn't as far out as I thought.

I'm fairly new to the show so I'm not sure I can tell the difference between real Tom laughter and the fake, mocking kind, but the laugh when last night's crazy caller (the guy who called three times, I can't remember his name) suggested that poetic justice for Lindsey Lohan is to be chauffeured by Ted Kennedy sounded real to me.
I'll probably go into the wee hours.

No, that was fake.  But keep a-tryin'!

I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!

I'm a big fan of that. Tom laughs plenty when he calls the 15-pound burger place in Clearfield, PA. Listen to the May 3, 2005 archive after the 1:12 mark. You'll love it.
